A Wristed Development
UPDATE: The next round of Pebble App Challenge voting—narrowing down our 16 finalists—has been postponed for now. We will update the voting schedule after a recent issue with the iOS Pebble app has been resolved.
The public has spoken! The Top16 finalists for the Pebble App Challenge have been selected!
If you are new to Pebble development you are probably wondering: What does Pebble source code look like? How do I compile an app? How do I install it on my Pebble? These are all excellent questions and the answer takes less than 5 minutes to demonstrate! And we hope you will be following along on your computer!
We'd like to share with you a great opportunity to learn more about Pebble development through a webinar that is taking place on Monday, March 31st from 14:00 – 15:00 GMT (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM EDT). The webinar is entitled "Use AppCode to Develop for the Pebble Smartwatch" and is being presented by Heiko Behrens, one of the developers of PebbleCam.
Dear Pebble Developers,
Submissions are now closed, and you can vote for your favorite apps in the Pebble App Challenge. Visit the challenge page to review the submissions and cast your vote.
Now is a great time to encourage your friends, colleagues and peers to support your work and vote. The voting period this week is open to everyone, including non-Pebble users.
Voting will be open until Thursday 5 pm PDT. At the end of the week, the Top 16 apps will be selected to compete next week in the Pebble appstore for the grand prize.
May the best app win!
It's now even easier to get started with Pebble development or prototype new ideas!
We are celebrating the launch of the Pebble appstore on Android by announcing the Pebble App Challenge, featuring a $5000 grand prize for the first place app developer(s) and a Pebble Steel for each of the Top 16 finalists.
The Pebble App Challenge starts today. Enter your Pebble application(s) in the challenge now!
